Whoever said that having dogs is like having a toddler around was right. I have to remind members of both species to chew with their mouth closed. No one wants to see your masticated food! Or stick.
Welcome to Tenacious Little Terrier! Mr. and his human blog here to help other dog people go on more adventures, train and just have fun with their pup(s)!

But mom always told him to share!
May 23, 2016 11:31 pm
That is true!
May 23, 2016 7:42 pm
LOL…that reminds me of the time our beagle spit out a half chewed up mouse in front of me! Sticks are nothing!

Mr. N is so jealous! He never gets to catch mice.
May 23, 2016 9:49 pm
BOL, what command do you use for Mr. N to close his mouth…. 😉
May 23, 2016 11:32 pm
Hmm… drop it?
May 24, 2016 9:02 pm
Never!!!! Never chew with your mouth closed Mr. N. I find chewing with my mouth open so much more fun, especially if it is something crunchy!
May 26, 2016 3:40 am
Crunchy things are the best!
May 25, 2016 11:40 am
BOL! But when you chew with your mouth open it just shows that you are enjoying you food that much more!
May 26, 2016 3:41 am
Like how people deliberately slurp in some countries?
May 25, 2016 3:38 pm
I love visiting Mr. N and seeing what he's up to! He's such a cutie.
May 26, 2016 3:44 am
Aww thanks! He's always up to something!
May 25, 2016 4:15 pm
BOL… poor Mr. N, getting picked on… 🙂
May 26, 2016 3:44 am
He has a hard life.
May 25, 2016 4:32 pm
Ha does Mr.N listen? Chewing with their mouths closed is one trick I doubt my two will ever learn 😉
May 26, 2016 3:45 am
He's usually a pretty good listener.
May 25, 2016 5:37 pm
LOL too funny. Simba can definitely be like a child at times 😉
May 26, 2016 3:45 am
Definitely a toddler!
May 25, 2016 5:46 pm
Mr. N is enjoying that stick. I love how he has his hind legs sprawled out behind him. It's hard to munch a stick politely.
May 26, 2016 3:47 am
It's probably like eating a turkey leg. It's very indelicate.
May 25, 2016 6:39 pm
MOL! it looks like it would be hard to chew with your mouth closed with that stick!
May 26, 2016 3:47 am
Maybe I set him an impossible task.
May 25, 2016 6:56 pm
Not only do they chew with their mouths open, but both toddlers and dogs put all kinds of weird stuff in their mouths.
May 26, 2016 3:47 am
That is true! Mr. N usually only puts food in his mouth though.
May 25, 2016 7:20 pm
Love the pic, chewing with your mouth open means you enjoying it
May 26, 2016 3:48 am
Or something!
May 25, 2016 9:45 pm
Mr. N your too cute! And who needs manners anyways! 😉
May 26, 2016 3:48 am
Shh. We're trying to convince him that cuteness is NOT the answer to everything.
May 26, 2016 12:26 am
He is just to cute! Who needs manners when you are this adorable?
May 26, 2016 3:48 am
That's what he thinks…
May 26, 2016 12:58 am
Om nom nom! Aren't we always asking our dogs, "What the heck are you eating?"
I'm kind of glad they don't have much for lips, it does make it easier to figure out what they're getting into this time!
May 26, 2016 3:48 am
There is that!
May 26, 2016 1:36 am
I'd say, he's just getting comfy. Nothing wrong with that! 😉
May 26, 2016 3:49 am
That leg sprawl especially.
May 26, 2016 1:54 am
Ha! So very true! Yoda is very limited with his manners too!
May 26, 2016 3:49 am
Oh he's usually good… which is why it's funny when he is not!
May 26, 2016 3:20 am
If our cats chew I'm lucky usually its a gulp then gone!
May 26, 2016 3:49 am
Fast eaters?
May 26, 2016 4:29 am
They are just like toddlers . . only they never grow out of it!
May 26, 2016 7:55 pm
OMD. So much like children! Good thing we don't have to send them to college, just training classes, LOL!
